Datamax was established in 1990 and specialised in medical practice management software (PMS). In 1995 we launched our online electronic claims system (EDI). A few years ago we were urged (by other PMS vendors) to make our EDI services more widely available. They felt more competition was necessary in the industry because the service provided by existing electronic claims companies was not "up to scratch". Datamax now provides electronic claims facilities to over 1000 practices in South Africa. How is Datamax different? Our product is the same – we deliver claims electronically.
